INFANTERIE AUTRICHIENNE
L'infanterie autrichienne etait habillee de blanc, avec les distinctives du regiment. Ils portaient le casque jusqu'en 1809, puis le shako. Les grenadiers portaient le bonnet d'oursin. les regiments hongrois portaient le pantalon bleu de ciel.
GRENADIERS AUTRICHIENS
Les grenadiers provenaient des regiments d'infanterie de ligne et etaient regroupes en bataillons. On comptait 6 cies de grenadiers issus de 3 regiments de ligne.
Il y a donc eu jusqu'a 21 bataillons.
Les grenadiers conservaient les distinctives de leurs regiments d'origine.

Les chasseurs formaient le 64e regiment, puis furent reorganises en 1808 en 9 bataillons

L'uniforme etait brun avec la couleur distinctive du regiment. certains portaient encore l'uniforme blanc. Les pantalons etaient bleu ciel, parfois blanc. La coiffure etait le shako.
DISTINCTIVES
Les regiments sont composes de 2 bataillons de 6 cies chacun. Une cie est forte d'environ 200 hommes, 150 pour le district de siebenburgen. A ce chiffre il faut rajouter une petite cie d'artillerie (environ 50 hommes).
Les regiments des districts de Karlstadt et banal ont de plus 200 Seressaner scouts, de recrutement bosniaque. Ces scouts servaient de police militaire.
